Could Bhakti Yoga be practiced by a Yoga practitioner who is not a Hindu? Lets ask, for example, could a Christian, Moslem, or Jew practice Bhakti Yoga and stay within the confines of his or her religion? Some already do.
This could be considered sectarian Yoga, when a number of Yoga practitioners, of the same religion, gather to worship, meditate, pray, sing, or chant. Attachment to God is not reserved to any one specific religion. Therefore, in principle, Bhakti Yoga can be practiced by members of any religion.

On the path of yoga, meditation plays a key role in helping us to seek union with God. Meditation is the process of quietening the mind. Yoga teaches us that the thoughts of the mind can never lead us to liberation. The mind by nature is limited. The perspective of the mind is influenced by our ego. Our ego cannot grasp the whole because it tends to limit and separate different aspect of ourself.
